3:2. நாம் எல்லாரும் அநேக விஷயங்களில் தவறுகிறோம்; ஒருவன் சொல்தவறாதவனானால் அவன் பூரணபுருஷனும், தன் சரீரமுழுவதையும் கடிவாளத்தினாலே அடக்கிக்கொள்ளக்கூடியவனுமாயிருக்கிறான்.

3:2. நாமெல்லோரும் பல தவறுகளைச் செய்கிறோம். ஒருவன் எப்பொழுதும் தவறாகப் பேசாதவனாக இருந்தால் அவன் முழுமையானவனாகிறான். அவன் தனது முழு சரீரத்தையும் கட்டுப்படுத்தும் வல்லமை பெற்றவனாகிறான்.

3:2. For we all stumble in many ways. If someone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect individual, able to control the entire body as well.

3:2. Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.

3:2. For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
