9:16. எப்பிராயீமர் வெட்டுண்டுபோனார்கள்; அவர்கள் வேர் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று, கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றாலும், அவர்களுடைய கர்ப்பத்தின் பிரியமான கனிகளை அதம் பண்ணுவேன்.

9:16. எப்பிராயீம் தண்டிக்கப்படுவான். அவர்கள் வேர் செத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. அவர்களுக்கு இனிமேல் குழந்தைகள் இருக்காது. அவர்கள் குழந்தைகள் பெறலாம். ஆனால் நான் அவர்களது உடலிலிருந்து வருகிற குழந்தைகளைக் கொல்வேன்.

9:16. Ephraim will be struck down— their root will be dried up; they will not yield any fruit. Even if they do bear children, I will kill their precious offspring.
