22:14. ஆபிரகாம் அந்த இடத்துக்கு யேகோவாயீரே என்று பேரிட்டான்; அதினாலே கர்த்தருடைய பர்வதத்திலே பார்த்துக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்று இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் சொல்லப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

22:14. அதனால் ஆபிரகாம் அந்த இடத்திற்கு "யேகோவா யீரே" என்று பெயரிட்டான். "கர்த்தருடைய பர்வதத்திலே பார்த்துக் கொள்ளப்படும்" என்று இன்றைக்கும் கூட ஜனங்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

22:14. And Abraham called the name of that place "The LORD provides." It is said to this day, "In the mountain of the LORD provision will be made."

22:14. Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means "the LORD will provide"). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided."

22:14. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh. As it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.
