15. எனவே ஜனங்கள் விரும்பியது போன்று அரசன் செய்யவில்லை. கர்த்தர்தாமே இவ்வாறு நிகழும்படி செய்தார். நேபாத்தின் மகனான யெரொபெயாமுக்குச் செய்த வாக்குறுதியை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்காக கர்த்தர் இவ்வாறு செய்தார். கர்த்தர் அகியாவின் மூலமாக இந்த வாக்குறுதியைச் செய்தார். அகியா சீலோ நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவர்.
