17. தேவைப்பட்ட பொருள்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் பெறுகிற அளவுக்குப் போதுமான செல்வந்தனாக ஒரு விசுவாசி இருக்கிறான் என்று வைத்துக் கொள்வோம். ஏழையானவனும் தேவையான பொருள்கள் கிடைக்காதவனுமாகிய கிறிஸ்துவில் சகோதரனை அவன் பார்க்கிறான். தேவையானவற்றைப் பெற்ற சகோதரன் ஏழை சகோதரனுக்கு உதவாமலிருந்தால் பயன் என்ன? அவன் இதயத்தில் தேவனின் அன்பு இல்லை.
