11. அப்பொழுது நாத்தான் சாலொமோனின் தாயாகிய பத்சேபாளை நோக்கி: நம்முடைய ஆண்டவனாகிய தாவீதுக்குத் தெரியாமல், ஆகீத்தின் குமாரனாகிய அதோனியா ராஜாவாகிற செய்தியை நீ கேட்கவில்லையா?

11. ஆனால் நாத்தான், இதைப்பற்றி அறிந்து சாலொமோனின் தாயான பத்சேபாளிடம் சென்றான். அவளிடம் அவன், "ஆகீத்தின் மகனான அதோனியா என்ன செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறான் என்பதை அறிவீர்களா? அவன் தன்னையே அரசனாக்கிக்கொண்டான். நமது ஆண்டவனும் அரசனுமான தாவீது இதைப்பற்றி எதுவும் சொல்லாமல் இருக்கிறார்.
