28. அப்படியும் உமது ஜனங்களாகிய இவர்களைத் தண்டிக்க விரும்பினால், அதைக் காணும் எகிப்தியர்கள், ‘கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த வாக்கின்படி, இந்த ஜனங்களை அந்த தேசத்திற்கு அழைத்துச்சென்று சுதங்திரமாக்க முடியவில்லை’ என்பார்கள். ‘கர்த்தர் இவர்களை வெறுத்தார். எனவே, அவர் இவர்களை பாலைவனத்திற்குக் கொல்வதற்கென்று அழைத்துச் சென்றார்’ என்றும் கூறுவார்கள்.
