20. பின்பு யோய்தாவின் மகன் பெனாயா இருந்தான். இவன் வலிமைக்கொண்ட ஒருவனின் மகன். அவன் கப்செயேல் ஊரான். பெனாயா பல வீரச் செயல்கள் புரிந்தவன். மோவாபிலுள்ள ஏரியேலின் இரண்டு மகன்களை பெனாயா கொன்றான். ஒரு நாள் பனிபெய்துக்கொண்டிருக்கையில் பெனாயா நிலத்திலிருந்த ஒரு குழியில் இறங்கிச் சென்று ஒரு சிங்கத்தைக் கொன்றான்.
