2. சீஷாக் எருசலேம் நகரத்தை ரெகொபெயாமின் ஐந்தாவது ஆட்சியாண்டில் தாக்கினான். இவன் எகிப்தின் அரசன். ரெகொபெயாமும், அவனுடன் ஆட்சி செய்தவர்களும் கர்த்தருக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக இல்லாததால் இவ்வாறு நடந்தது.
