14. அம்மனிதன் அதற்குப் பதிலாக, "எங்களுக்கு அதிகாரியாகவும், நியாயாதிபதியாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக உன்னிடம் யாராவது கூறினார்களா? நீ எகிப்தியனை நேற்று கொன்றதுபோல என்னையும் கொல்லப் போகிறாயா?" என்றான். இதைக் கேட்டு மோசே அஞ்சினான். மோசே தனக்குள், "நான் செய்ததை எல்லோரும் இப்போது அறிந்திருக்கிறார்கள்" என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டான்.
