19. யோசியா சமாரியாவிலுள்ள பொய்த் தெய்வங்களின் மேடைகளையும் அழித்துப்போட்டான். இஸ்ரவேல் அரசர்கள் அவற்றைக் கட்டியிருந்தனர். இதனால் கர்த்தருக்குப் பெருங்கோபம் உண்டாகி இருந்தது. பெத்தேலில் உள்ளவற்றை அழித்தது போலவே, யோசியா இவற்றையும் அழித்துவிட்டான்.
