4:2. ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் அவர்களை ஆத்சோரில் ஆளுகிற யாபீன் என்னும் கானானியருடைய ராஜாவின் கையிலே விற்றுப்போட்டார்; அவனுடைய சேனாபதிக்குச் சிசெரா என்று பேர்; அவன் புறஜாதிகளுடைய பட்டணமாகிய அரோசேத்திலே குடியிருந்தான்.

4:2. எனவே கர்த்தர் கானானின் அரசனாகிய யாபீன் என்பவன் இஸ்ரவேலரைத் தோற்கடிக்க அனுமதித்தார். யாபீன் ஆத்சோர் பட்டணத்தில் ஆண்டு வந்தான். யாபீனின் சேனைக்குச் சிசெரா என்பவன் தலைவனாக இருந்தான். அரோசேத் ஆகோயிம் என்ற நகரில் சிசெரா வசித்து வந்தான்.

4:2. The LORD turned them over to King Jabin of Canaan, who ruled in Hazor. The general of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth Haggoyim.

4:2. So the Lord allowed King Jabin of Canaan to defeat the Israelites. Jabin ruled in a city named Hazor. A man named Sisera was the commander of King Jabin's army. Sisera lived in a town called Harosheth Haggoyim.
