1:6. நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, தமது இரத்தத்தினாலே நம்முடைய பாவங்களற நம்மைக் கழுவி, தம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நம்மை ராஜாக்களும் ஆசாரியர்களுமாக்கின அவருக்கு மகிமையும் வல்லமையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உண்டாயிருப்பதாக. ஆமென்.

1:6. இயேசுவே நம்மை நேசிக்கிறவர். அவரே தமது இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்களில் இருந்து நம்மை விடுதலை செய்தவர். தமது பிதாவாகிய தேவனின் முன்னிலையில் நம்மை ஆசாரியர்களாக்கி, அரசு ஒன்றை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு மகிமையும், வல்லமையும் எப்போதும் உண்டாவதாக! ஆமென்.

1:6. and has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving his God and Father— to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.
