9:15. யோசுவா அவர்களோடு சமாதானம் செய்துகொள்ள உடன்பட்டான். அவர்களை வாழவிடுவதாக ஒப்பந்தம் செய்தான். யோசுவாவின் இந்த வாக்குறுதிக்கு இஸ்ரவேலின் தலைவர்களும் ஒப்புக்கொண்டனர்.
