1:18. நீர் எங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடும் சகல காரியத்திலும் உம்முடைய சொல்லைக் கேளாமல், உம்முடைய வாக்குக்கு முரட்டாட்டம்பண்ணுகிற எவனும் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவன்; பலங்கொண்டு திடமனதாய் மாத்திரம் இரும் என்றார்கள்.

1:18. மேலும், உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய யாராவது மறுத்தால், அல்லது உமக்கு எதிராக யாராவது எழும்பினால், அப்போது அவன் கொல்லப்படுவான். உறுதியோடும் தைரியத்தோடும் இரும்!" என்றனர்.
