7:20. அன்றியும், அவர்கள் ஆணையில்லாமல் ஆசாரியராக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; இவரோ; நீர் மெல்கிசேதேக்கின் முறைமையின்படி என்றென்றைக்கும் ஆசாரியராயிருக்கிறீர் என்று கர்த்தர் ஆணையிட்டார், மனம்மாறாமலும் இருப்பார் என்று தம்முடனே சொன்னவராலே ஆணையோடே ஆசாரியரானார்.

7:20. இது மிக முக்கியமானது. மற்றவர்களை ஆசாரியர்களாக்கியபோது ஆணை எதுவும் கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை.

7:20. And since this was not done without a sworn affirmation— for the others have become priests without a sworn affirmation,

7:20. This new system was established with a solemn oath. Aaron's descendants became priests without such an oath,

7:20. And inasmuch as it is not without the taking of an oath

7:20. And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath,

7:20. And inasmuch as not without an oath [he was made priest: ]

7:20. And it was not without an oath.

7:20. And inasmuch as [it is] not apart from oath, (for those indeed apart from oath are become priests,

7:20. Also, it is important that God made a promise with an oath when he made Jesus high priest. When those other men became priests, there was no oath.

7:20. Inasmuch as he was not made priest without the taking of an oath
