10:6. மிருகங்களைக் கொன்றும் எரித்தும் கொடுக்கப்படுகிற பலிகள் உம்மைச் சந்தோஷப்படுத்தாது. பாவநிவாரண பலிகளும் உம்மைத் திருப்திப்படுத்தாது என்றார்.
