1:22. ஆகிலும் சரீரத்தில் பிழைத்திருக்கிறதினாலே என் கிரியைக்குப் பலனுண்டாயிருப்பதால், நான் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டியது இன்னதென்று அறியேன்.

1:22. இந்த சரீரத்தில் நான் தொடர்ந்து வாழ்ந்தால் கர்த்தருக்குத் தொண்டு செய்ய என்னால் முடியும். ஆனால் வாழ்வு, சாவு என்பவற்றில் எதைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பது? எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை.

1:22. Now if I am to go on living in the body, this will mean productive work for me, yet I don't know which I prefer:

1:22. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don't know which is better.

1:22. But if to live in the flesh, --if this shall bring fruit from my work, then what I shall choose I know not.
