1:20. நான் ஒன்றிலும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாமல், எப்பொழுதும்போல இப்பொழுதும், மிகுந்த தைரியத்தோடே ஜீவனாலாகிலும், சாவினாலாகிலும், கிறிஸ்து என் சரீரத்தினாலே மகிமைப்படுவாரென்று எனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிற வாஞ்சைக்கும் நம்பிக்கைக்கும் தக்கதாய், அப்படி முடியும்.

1:20. எதிலும் நான் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் தவறமாட்டேன். இதுவே நான் விரும்புவதும், நம்புவதும் கூட. இந்த உலகத்தில் என் வாழ்வில் நான் இயேசுவின் உயர்வைக் காட்ட வேண்டும். அதனை வெளிப்படுத்தும் தைரியத்தை எப்போதும் போல இப்போதும் பெறுவேன் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேன். நான் வாழ்ந்தாலும் சரி, மரித்தாலும் சரி, இதைச் செய்ய விரும்புகிறேன்.

1:20. My confident hope is that I will in no way be ashamed but that with complete boldness, even now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether I live or die.

1:20. For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die.
