2:7. அதுவுமல்லாமல், விருத்தசேதனமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கும்படி பேதுருவைப் பலப்படுத்தினவர் புறஜாதிகளுக்கு அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கும்படி என்னையும் பலப்படுத்தினபடியால்,

2:7. அதற்கு மாறாக அத்தலைவர்கள் பேதுருவைப் போன்றே எனக்கும் தேவன் சிறப்புப் பணிகளைக் கொடுத்திருப்பதாக உணர்ந்தனர். தேவன் பேதுருவிடம், யூதர்களுக்கு நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி ஆணையிட்டிருந்தார். ஆனால் எனக்கோ, யூதர் அல்லாதவர்களுக்குப் போதிக்கும்படி தேவன் ஆணையிட்டிருந்தார்.
