1:17. எனக்கு முன்னே அப்போஸ்தலரானவர்களிடத்திலே எருசலேமுக்குப் போகாமலும்; அரபிதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மறுபடியும் தமஸ்கு ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிவந்தேன்.

1:17. எருசலேமில் உள்ள அப்போஸ்தலர்களையும் நான் போய்ப் பார்க்கவில்லை. அவர்கள் எல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்னரே அப்போஸ்தலர்களாய் இருக்கிறவர்கள். ஆனால் நான் யாருக்காகவும் காத்திருக்காமல் அரேபியாவுக்குப் போனேன். பிறகு அங்கிருந்து தமஸ்கு என்ற நகருக்குத் திரும்பிவந்தேன்.
