11:1. இப்படியிருக்க, தேவன் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களைத் தள்ளிவிட்டாரோ என்று கேட்கிறேன், தள்ளிவிடவில்லையே; நானும் ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியிலும் பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலும் பிறந்த இஸ்ரவேலன்.

11:1. தேவன் தன் மக்களைத் தூரமாகத் தள்ளி விட்டாரா? என்று நான் கேட்கிறேன். இல்லை. நானும் ஒரு யூதன் தான். நான் ஆபிரகாமின் குடும்பத்திலிருந்து வந்துள்ளேன். பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன்.
