8:16. அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தஆவியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படி அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபம்பண்ணி,

8:16. இந்த மக்கள் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் பெயரில் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றிருந்தார்கள். ஆனால் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் அவர்களில் ஒருவர்மீதும் இறங்கி வரவில்லை. இந்த நோக்கத்திற்காகப்Ԕபேதுருவும் யோவானும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தனர்.
