28:8. புபிலியுவினுடைய தகப்பன் ஜூரத்தினாலும் இரத்தபேதியினாலும் வருத்தப்பட்டுக்க கிடந்தான்; பவுல் அவனிடத்திற்குப் போய் ஜெபம்பண்ணி, அவன்மேல் கைகளை வைத்து, அவனைக் குணமாக்கினான்.

28:8. புபிலியுவின் தந்தை மிகவும் நோயுற்றுப் படுக்கையிலிருந்தார். அவருக்கு காய்ச்சலும் வயிற்றிளைச்சலும் இருந்தது. ஆனால் பவுல் அவனிடம் சென்று அவனுக்காகப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தான். பவுல் தனது கைகளை அம்மனிதன் மீது வைத்து அவனைக் குணமாக்கினான்.

28:8. The father of Publius lay sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and after praying, placed his hands on him and healed him.

28:8. As it happened, Publius's father was ill with fever and dysentery. Paul went in and prayed for him, and laying his hands on him, he healed him.
