25:26. இவனைக்குறித்து ஆண்டவனுக்கு எழுதுகிறதற்கு நிச்சயப்பட்ட காரியமொன்றும் எனக்கு விளங்கவில்லை. காவல்பண்ணப்பட்ட ஒருவன் செய்த குற்றங்களை எடுத்துக்காட்டாமல் அனுப்புகிறது புத்தியீனமான காரியமென்று எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறபடியினாலே,

25:26. இம்மனிதன் செய்த தவறாக இராயருக்கு எழுதுவதற்குத் தீர்மானமாக எதுவும் இல்லை. எனவே உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக, விசேஷமாக அகிரிப்பா மன்னரே, உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனைக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளேன். நீங்கள் அவனை வினவலாம். இராயருக்கு ஏதாவது எழுதுமாறு கூறலாம்.

25:26. But I have nothing definite to write to my lord about him. Therefore I have brought him before you all, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after this preliminary hearing I may have something to write.

25:26. "But what shall I write the emperor? For there is no clear charge against him. So I have brought him before all of you, and especially you, King Agrippa, so that after we examine him, I might have something to write.
