23:17. அப்பொழுது பவுல் நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதிகளில் ஒருவனை அழைத்து, இந்த வாலிபனைச் சேனாதிபதியினிடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோம்; அவரிடத்தில் இவன் அறிவிக்கவேண்டிய ஒரு காரியம் உண்டு என்றான்.

23:17. அப்போது பவுல் படை அதிகாரிகளில் ஒருவரை அழைத்து அவரை நோக்கி, இவ்விளைஞனை அதிகாரியிடம் அழைத்துச் செல்லுங்கள். இவன் அவருக்கு ஒரு செய்தி சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றான்.

23:17. Paul called one of the centurions and said, "Take this young man to the commanding officer, for he has something to report to him."

23:17. Paul called for one of the Roman officers and said, "Take this young man to the commander. He has something important to tell him."

23:17. And Paul called unto him one of the centurions, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain; for he hath something to tell him.
