1:24. எல்லாருடைய இருதயங்களையும் அறிந்திருக்கிற கர்த்தாவே, யூதாஸ் என்பவன் தனக்குரிய இடத்துக்குப் போகும்படி இழந்துபோன இந்த ஊழியத்திலும் இந்த அப்போஸ்தலப்பட்டத்திலும் பங்கு பெறுவதற்காக,

1:24. Then they prayed, "Lord, you know the hearts of all. Show us which one of these two you have chosen

1:24. and having prayed, they said, `Thou, Lord, who art knowing the heart of all, shew which one thou didst choose of these two

1:24. They prayed, "Lord, you know the minds of all people. Show us which one of these two men you choose to do this work. Judas turned away from it and went where he belongs. Lord, show us which man should take his place as an apostle!"
