18:20. இயேசு அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நான் வெளியரங்கமாய் உலகத்துடனே பேசினேன்; ஜெப ஆலயங்களிலேயும் யூதர்களெல்லாரும் கூடிவருகிற தேவாலயத்திலேயும் எப்பொழுதும் உபதேசித்தேன்; அந்தரங்கத்திலே நான் ஒன்றும் பேசவில்லை.

18:20. அதற்கு இயேசு, நான் மக்களிடம் எப்பொழுதும் வெளிப்படையாகவே பேசிவந்தேன். நான் எப் பொழுதும் யூதர்கள் கூடும் அரங்கங்களிலும், ஆலயங்களிலுமே உபதேசித்து இருக்கிறேன். யூதர்கள் எல்லோரும் அங்கு வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். நான் எதையும் இரகசியமாகப் பேசவில்லை.

18:20. Jesus replied, "I have spoken publicly to the world. I always taught in the synagogues and in the temple courts, where all the Jewish people assemble together. I have said nothing in secret.
