16:17. அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீஷரில் சிலர்: நான் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறபடியினால், கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காணாதிருப்பீர்கள் என்றும், மறுபடியும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள் என்றும் அவர் நம்முடனே சொல்லுகிறதின் கருத்தென்ன என்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே பேசிக்கொண்டதுமன்றி:

16:17. இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களில் சிலர் ஒருவருக்கொருவர், கொஞ்ச காலத்திற்குப்பின் பார்க்கமுடியாது. கொஞ்ச காலத்திற்குப் பிறகு நீங்கள் என்னை மீண்டும் பார்க்கலாம் என்றாரே, இயேசு எதைக் கருதி இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார். ԅநான் பிதாவிடம் போகிறேன் என்று ஏன் கூறுகிறார்.

16:17. Then some of his disciples said to one another, "What is the meaning of what he is saying, 'In a little while you will not see me; again after a little while, you will see me,' and, 'because I am going to the Father'?"

16:17. Some of the disciples asked each other, "What does he mean when he says, 'In a little while you won't see me, but then you will see me,' and 'I am going to the Father'?

16:17. Some of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

16:17. So some of his disciples said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and, 'because I am going to the Father'?"

16:17. Then said [some] of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, {SCJ}A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? {SCJ.}

16:17. Some of his disciples said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, `A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and, `because I go to the Father'?"

16:17. Therefore said [some] of his disciples one to another, `What is this that he saith to us, A little while, and ye do not behold me, and again a little while, and ye shall see me, and, Because I go away unto the Father?`

16:17. Some of the followers said to each other, "What does he mean when he says, 'After a short time you won't see me. Then after another short time you will see me again'? And what does he mean when he says, 'Because I am going to the Father'?"

16:17. Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, \'A little while, and you won\'t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;\' and, \'Because I go to the Father?\'"

16:17.
