13:38. இயேசு அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: எனக்காக உன் ஜீவனைக் கொடுப்பாயோ? சேவல் கூவுகிறதற்கு முன்னே நீ என்னை மூன்றுதரம் மறுதலிப்பாயென்று, மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.

13:38. இயேசு அதற்கு, நீ உண்மையிலேயே எனக்காக உன் உயிரையும் தருவாயா? நான் உனக்கு உண்மையைக் கூறுகிறேன். நீ என்னை அறியாதவன் என்று சேவல் கூவுவதற்கு முன்னால் மூன்று முறை மறுதலிப்பாய் என்றார்.

13:38. Jesus answered, "Will you lay down your life for me? I tell you the solemn truth, the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!
