15:12. அவர்களில் இளையவன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே, ஆஸ்தியில் எனக்கு வரும் பங்கை எனக்குத் தரவேண்டும் என்றான். அந்தப்படி அவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தன் ஆஸ்தியைப் பங்கிட்டுக்கொடுத்தான்.

15:12. இளைய மகன் தந்தையை நோக்கி, ԅநமக்குச் சொந்தமான எல்லாப் பொருட்களிலும் எனது பங்கை எனக்குத் தாருங்கள் என்று கூறினான். எனவே தந்தை செல்வத்தை இரண்டு பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுத்தான்.

15:12. The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that will belong to me.' So he divided his assets between them.

15:12. The younger son told his father, 'I want my share of your estate now before you die.' So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.
