9:17. அப்பொழுது ஜனக்கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: போதகரே, ஊமையான ஒரு ஆவி பிடித்த என் மகனை உம்மிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தேன்.

9:17. ஆண்டவரே! நான் என் மகனை அழைத்து வந்தேன். அவன் பிசாசினால் பிடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறான். அது அவனைப் பேசவிடாமல் செய்துவிட்டது.

9:17. A member of the crowd said to him, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that makes him mute.

9:17. One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, "Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won't let him talk.

9:17. And one of the multitude answered him, Teacher, I brought unto thee my son, who hath a dumb spirit;

9:17. And someone from the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute.
