6:16. But when Herod heard this, he said, "John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!"

6:16. When Herod heard about Jesus, he said, "John, the man I beheaded, has come back from the dead."

6:16. But Herod, when he heard thereof, said, John, whom I beheaded, he is risen.

6:16. Herod heard these things about Jesus. He said, "I killed John by cutting off his head. Now he has been raised from death!"

6:16. But Herod, when he heard this, said, "This is John, whom I beheaded. He has risen from the dead."
