2:7. இவன் இப்படித் தேவதூஷணம் சொல்லுகிறதென்ன? தேவன் ஒருவரேயன்றிப் பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கத்தக்கவர் யார் என்று தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

2:7. ஏன் இந்த மனிதர் இவ் வாறு பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்? இவர் சொல்வ தெல்லாம் தேவனுக்கு எதிரானதாகவே உள்ளதே. தேவன் மட்டுமே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கத்தக்கவர் என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டனர்.

2:7. "Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
