14:30. இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: இன்றைக்கு, இந்த இராத்திரியிலே, சேவல் இரண்டுதரம் கூவுகிறதற்குமுன்னே, நீ மூன்றுதரம் என்னை மறுதலிப்பாய் என்று மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.

14:30. இயேசுவோ, நான் உண்மையைக் கூறுகிறேன். இன்று இரவே என்னைப்பற்றித் தெரியாது என்று கூறுவாய். அதுவும் சேவல் இரண்டு முறை கூவுவதற்குமுன் மூன்று முறை நீ என்னை மறுதலிப்பாய் என்றார்.

14:30. Jesus said to him, "I tell you the truth, today— this very night— before a rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times."
