14:8. அவள் தன் தாயினால் ஏவப்பட்டபடியே: யோவான்ஸ்நானனுடைய தலையை இங்கே ஒரு தாலத்திலே எனக்குத் தாரும் என்று கேட்டாள்.

14:8. தன் மகள் எதைக் கேட்கவேண்டும் என்பதை ஏரோதியாள் முன்னமே அறிவுறுத்தியிருந்தாள். ஆகவே, அவள் ஏரோதுவிடம், "எனக்கு யோவான்ஸ்நானகனின் தலையை ஒரு தட்டில் வைத்துத் தாருங்கள்" என்று கூறினாள்.

14:8. Instructed by her mother, she said, "Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter."

14:8. At her mother's urging, the girl said, "I want the head of John the Baptist on a tray!"

14:8. And she, being put forward by her mother, saith, Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.

14:8. Prompted by her mother, she said, "Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter."
