12:7. பலியையல்ல இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்பதின் கருத்து இன்னதென்று அறிந்தீர்களானால், குற்றமில்லாதவர்களை நீங்கள் குற்றப்படுத்தமாட்டீர்கள்.

12:7. வேதாகமம் கூறுகிறது, ‘எனக்கு விலங்குகளைப் பலியிடுவது விருப்பமானதல்ல. மக்களிடம் இரக்கத்தையே நான் விரும்புகிறேன்,’ அவ்வார்த்தைகளின் உண்மையான பொருள் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது. அதன் பொருளை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருந்தால் குற்றமற்றவர்களைக் குற்றவாளிகளாக்கமாட்டீர்கள்.

12:7. If you had known what this means: 'I want mercy and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.
