12:44. நான் விட்டுவந்த என் வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போவேன் என்று சொல்லி; அங்கே வந்து, அந்த வீடு வெறுமையாகவும், பெருக்கி, ஜோடிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் இருக்கக்கண்டு,

12:44. எனவே, அந்த ஆவி, ‘நான் புறப்பட்ட இடத்திற்கே திரும்பச் செல்வேன்’ என்று சொல்லி அந்த ஆவி திரும்பி அதே மனிதனிடம் வரும்பொழுது, அது இருந்த இடம் வெறுமையாயும் சுத்தமாயும் ஒழுங்குடனும் இருப்பதை அறிகிறது.

12:44. Then it says, 'I will return to the home I left.' When it returns, it finds the house empty, swept clean, and put in order.

12:44. Then it says, 'I will return to the person I came from.' So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order.

12:44. Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
