35:18. ஒருவன் தன் கையில் ஒரு மர ஆயுதத்தை எடுத்து, சாகத்தக்கதாக ஒருவனை அடித்ததினால் அவன் செத்துப்போனால், அடித்தவன் கொலைபாதகனாயிருக்கிறான்; கொலைபாதகன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

35:18. ஒருவன் இன்னொருவனை மரத்தடியைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொன்றால், அவனும் கொலை செய்யப்பட வேண்டியவன். (பொதுவாக மரத்தடியே பிறரைக் கொல்ல ஆயுதமாக பயன்படுத்தப்படும்.)

35:18. Or if he strikes him with a wooden hand weapon so that he could die, and he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

35:18. Or if someone strikes and kills another person with a wooden object, it is murder, and the murderer must be put to death.

35:18. Or if he smote him with a weapon of wood in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

35:18. If you use a piece of wood large enough to kill someone and you kill another person, you are a murderer, and you must die.
