24:9. சிங்கம்போலவும் துஷ்ட சிங்கம்போலவும் மடங்கிப் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களை எழுப்புகிறவன் யார்? உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறவன் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன், உங்களைச் சபிக்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்றான்.

24:9. "இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் சிங்கம் போன்றவர்கள். அவர்கள் சுருண்டு படுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆமாம்! அவர்கள் இளம் சிங்கத்தைப் போன்றவர்கள். எவரும் அவர்களை எழுப்ப விரும்பவில்லை! உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள். உங்களை சபிப்பவர்கள் சபிக்கப்படுவார்கள்."

24:9. They crouch and lie down like a lion, and as a lioness, who can stir him? Blessed is the one who blesses you, and cursed is the one who curses you!'"

24:9. Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you."

24:9. He couched, he lay down as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed be every one that blesseth thee, And cursed be every one that curseth thee.

24:9. Israel is like a lion, curled up and lying down. Yes, they are like a young lion, and no one wants to wake him! Anyone who blesses you will be blessed. And anyone who curses you will have great troubles."
