2:1. கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: மோவாபின் மூன்று பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நாலு பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நான் அவன் ஆக்கினையைத் திருப்பமாட்டேன்; அவன் ஏதோமுடைய ராஜாவின் எலும்புகளை நீறாகச் சுட்டுப்போட்டானே.

2:1. கர்த்தர் இவற்றைக் கூறுகிறார்: "நான் நிச்சயமாக மோவாப் ஜனங்களை அவர்கள் செய்த பல குற்றங்களுக்காகத் தண்டிப்பேன். ஏனென்றால் மோவாபியர், ஏதோம் அரசனின் எலுப்புகளைச் சுண்ணாம்பில் எரித்தார்கள்.

2:1. This is what the LORD says: "Because Moab has committed three crimes— make that four!— I will not revoke my decree of judgment. They burned the bones of Edom's king into lime.

2:1. This is what the LORD says: "The people of Moab have sinned again and again, and I will not let them go unpunished! They desecrated the bones of Edom's king, burning them to ashes.

2:1. Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2:1. Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because he burned to lime the bones of the king of Edom.

2:1. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2:1. Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment; because he burned to lime the bones of the king of Edom.

2:1. This is what the Lord says: "I will definitely punish the people of Moab for the many crimes they did. Moab burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.
