1:6. கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: காத்சாவினுடைய மூன்று பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நாலு பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நான் அதின் ஆக்கினையைத் திருப்பமாட்டேன்; அவர்கள் சிறைப்பட்டவர்களை ஏதோமியரிடத்தில் ஒப்புவிக்கும்படி முழுதும் சிறையாக்கினார்களே.

1:6. கர்த்தர் இதனைக் கூறுகிறார்: "நான் நிச்சயமாக காத்சா ஜனங்களை அவர்களின் பல குற்றங்களுக்காகத் தண்டிப்பேன். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் நாட்டு ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் சிறைபிடித்து ஏதோமுக்குக் கைதிகளாகக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.

1:6. This is what the LORD says: "Because Gaza has committed three crimes— make that four!— I will not revoke my decree of judgment. They deported a whole community and sold them to Edom.

1:6. This is what the LORD says: "The people of Gaza have sinned again and again, and I will not let them go unpunished! They sent whole villages into exile, selling them as slaves to Edom.

1:6. Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gaza, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole people, to deliver them up to Edom:

1:6. Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they carried into exile a whole people to deliver them up to Edom.

1:6. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver [them] up to Edom:

1:6. This is what the Lord says: "I will definitely punish the people of Gaza for the many crimes they did. They took an entire nation of people and sent them as slaves to Edom.
