25:5. தானாய் விளைந்து பயிரானதை அறுக்காமலும், கிளைகழிக்காதே விட்ட திராட்சச்செடியின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருப்பாயாக; தேசத்துக்கு அது ஓய்வு வருஷமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

25:5. அறுவடைக்குப் பிறகு வயலில் தானாக வளர்ந்து விளைந்தவற்றை அறுவடை செய்யவோ, கிளை கழிக்காத கொடிகளில் உள்ள திராட்சைப் பழங்களைப் பறிக்கவோ கூடாது. பூமி ஒரு வருடம் ஓய்வு கொள்ளட்டும்.

25:5. You must not gather in the aftergrowth of your harvest and you must not pick the grapes of your unpruned vines; the land must have a year of complete rest.
