40:6. பின்பு அவர் கிழக்குமுகவாசலுக்கு வந்து, அதின் படிகளின்மேல் ஏறி, வாசற்படியை ஒரு கோல் அகலமாகவும், மறுவாசற்படியை ஒரு கோல் அகலமாகவும் அளந்தார்.

40:6. பிறகு அம்மனிதன் கிழக்கு வாசலுக்குச் சென்றான். அம்மனிதன் படிகளில் ஏறிப்போய் வாசலின் இடைவெளியை அளந்தான். அது ஒரு அளவு கோல் (10’6") அகலமுடையதாக இருந்தது. மறுவாசற்படியையும் ஒரு அளவு கோல் (10’6") அகலமுடையதாக அளந்தான்.

40:6. Then he went to the gate facing east. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate as 10— feet deep.
