20:26. நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியத்தக்கதாக. நான் அவர்களைப் பாழாக்கும்படி, அவர்கள் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிறதையெல்லாம் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணி, இவ்விதமாய் அவர்களுடைய பலிகளினாலே அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படப்பண்ணினேன்.

20:26. நான் அவர்கள் தமது அன்பளிப்புகளால் (அவர்கள் விக்கிரகங்களுக்கு படைத்தவை) தங்களையே தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள இடங்கொடுத்தேன். அவர்கள் தம் முதல் குழந்தைகளைக் கூட பலியிடத் தொடங்கினார்கள். இவ் வழியில், அந்த ஜனங்களை அழிப்பேன். பிறகு அவர்கள் நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை அறிவார்கள்.’

20:26. I declared them to be defiled because of their sacrifices— they caused all their first born to pass through the fire— so that I would devastate them, so that they will know that I am the LORD.'

20:26. I let them pollute themselves with the very gifts I had given them, and I allowed them to give their firstborn children as offerings to their gods-- so I might devastate them and remind them that I alone am the LORD.

20:26. and I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.

20:26. and I defiled them through their very gifts in their offering up all their firstborn, that I might devastate them. I did it that they might know that I am the LORD.
