4:17. இன்னும் எங்களுக்குச் சகாயம் வருமென்று நாங்கள் வீணாய் எதிர்பார்த்திருந்ததினாலே எங்கள் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போயின; இரட்சிக்கமாட்டாத ஜாதிக்கு எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தோம்.

4:17. நாங்கள் உதவிக்காகக் காத்திருந்து எங்கள் கண்கள் களைத்துப் பழுதாயிற்று. ஆனால் எந்த உதவியும் வரவில்லை. எங்களைக் காப்பாற்றப் போகிற ஒரு தேசத்திற்காக நாங்கள் காத்திருந்தோம். நாங்கள் பார்வை கோபுரத்திலிருந்து பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தோம். ஆனால் எந்தத் தேசமும் எங்களுக்கு உதவ வரவில்லை.
