1:22. அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பெல்லாம் உமது முகத்துக்கு முன்பாக வரக்கடவது. என் சகல பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும் நீர் எனக்குச் செய்ததுபோல அவர்களுக்கும் செய்யும்; என் பெருமூச்சுகள் மிகுதியாயின, என் இருதயம் பலட்சயமாயிருக்கிறது.

1:22. "எனது பகைவர்கள் எவ்வளவு கொடியவர்கள் எனப்பாரும். எனது பாவங்களுக்கெல்லாம் எனக்கு எவ்வாறு செய்தீரோ அதே வழியில் அவர்களுக்கும் செய்யும். இதனைச் செய்யும். ஏனென்றால், நான் மேலும் மேலும் வேதனையடைகிறேன். ஏனென்றால், எனது இதயம் நோயுற்றிருக்கிறது.

1:22. Let all their wickedness come before you; afflict them just as you have afflicted me because of all my acts of rebellion. For my groans are many, and my heart is sick with sorrow.&u05D0; (Alef)
