9:2. ஆ, வனாந்தரத்தில் வழிப்போக்கரின் தாபரம் எனக்கு இருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது நான் என் ஜனத்தைவிட்டு, அவர்களிடத்தில் இராதபடிக்குப் போய்விடுவேன்; அவர்களெல்லாரும் விபசாரரும் துரோகிகளின் கூட்டமுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

9:2. வழிபோக்கர்கள் இரவிலே தங்குவதற்கு, வனாந்தரத்திலே எனக்கென்றொரு வீடு இருந்திருக்குமானால் நல்லது. அப்பொழுது நான் எனது ஜனங்களை விட்டுப்போவேன். நான் அந்த ஜனங்களிலிருந்து தூரப் போய்விடுவேன். ஏனென்றால், அவர்கள் தேவன் மேல் விசுவாசம் இல்லாதவர்கள். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் அவருக்கு எதிராகத் திரும்பியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

9:2. I wish I had a lodging place in the desert where I could spend some time like a weary traveler. Then I would desert my people and walk away from them because they are all unfaithful to God, a congregation of people that has been disloyal to him.

9:2. Oh, that I could go away and forget my people and live in a travelers' shack in the desert. For they are all adulterers-- a pack of treacherous liars.
