9:14. தங்களுடைய இருதயத்தின் கடினத்தையும், தங்கள் பிதாக்கள் தங்களுக்குக் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தபடி பாகால்களையும் பின்தொடர்ந்தார்களே என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

9:14. யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த வழியிலேயே வாழ்ந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் பிடிவாதக்காரர்கள், அவர்கள் பொய்த் தெய்வமான பாகாலைத் தொழுதுகொள்கிறார்கள். அவர்களின் தந்தைகள் அந்தப் பொய்த் தெய்வங்களைத் தொழுதுகொள்ள சொல்லித் தந்தனர்."
