50:3. அதற்கு விரோதமாய் வடக்கேயிருந்து ஒரு ஜாதி வந்து, அதின் தேசத்தைப் பாழாக்கிப்போடும்; அதிலே குடியிருப்பாரில்லை; மனுஷரோடே மிருகங்களும் ஓடிப்போய்விடும்.

50:3. வடக்கிலிருந்து ஒரு தேசம் பாபிலோனைத் தாக்கும். அத்தேசம் பாபிலோனைக் காலியான வனாந்தரம் போலாக்கும். அங்கே எவரும் வாழமாட்டார்கள். அங்கிருந்து மனிதர்களும் மிருகங்களும் வெளியே ஓடுவார்கள்."

50:3. For a nation from the north will attack Babylon. It will lay her land waste. People and animals will flee out of it. No one will inhabit it.'
